Anand is well known for his rendition of Mukesh songs…in addition to Saigal, Surendra and Hemant Kumar. He has been performing on stage for the past 15 years and has sung in more than 1,000 theme-based music shows, both in India and abroad. He regularly performs for music troupes like Ibaadat, Keep Alive, Klub Nostalgia, Golden Greats, Anmol Entertainment, Deepali Group of Music & Arts, Arohi, Sound of Music and Musicolor.
In August 2006, Anand did a solo programme ‘Melancholic Moods of Mukesh’, to commemorate Mukesh’s 30th death anniversary at five different venues in Mumbai.
Anand has had the distinction of singing in front of greats like Naushad, Anil Biswas, O.P. Nayyar, Majrooh Sultanpuri, Pradeep, Hasrat Jaipuri, Ravi and Khayyam, and film personalities like Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Yash Chopra, Randhir Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Ameen Sayani, and Farooque haikh.
Anand has been singing for music companies like T- Series, Venus, Tips and Krunal Music for the last few years.
