Pranav, an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (2004) is the Director- Business Development of PRIME Database Group.
Pranav brings with him 5+ years of sales experience in the corporate sector, having worked with top-tier banks such as HSBC India in their private banking division and later as an AVP at Deutsche Bank Singapore where he was responsible for sales coverage of financial institutions in the Global Markets division.
At PRIME, Pranav is responsible for leading and managing the Group’s foray into new and diverse businesses. In his stint at PRIME, he has created several databases and websites: The IVCA-PRIME Private Equity & Venture Capital Directory (primedatabase.com/ivca),msmementor.in, a national skills registry of professionals for the benefit of MSMEs, bsepsu.com, a website dedicated to disinvestments and divest.nic.in, a new website for the Department of Disinvestment. He has also executed several projects with the National Stock Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange and the Investor Education and Protection Fund, Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Presently, he is leading PRIME’s foray into the secondary market database and investor relations space.
On a personal level, he has been a keen follower of Formula 1 racing for over 18 years and is an avid squash player.
He is also a trained singer specializing in old Hindi film songs and ghazals.
