इबादत संस्था ने हिंदी फिल्मों के गीतकारों पर कार्यक्रमों की प्रस्तुति की श्रृंखला में नौंवे गीतकार के तौर पर स्वर्गीय आनंद बख़्शी जी पर अपनी प्रस्तुति दी। आज इबादत के द्वारा प्रस्तुत कार्यक्रमों की संख्या के तौर पर छियतरहवीं प्रस्तुति थी। आनंद बख़्शी पर कार्यक्रम के पीछे उनकी मेहनत का आलम यह था कि चार वर्ष तक बख़्शी साहब पर शोध करते रहे। उनके गानों, उनकी फिल्मों, इंटरव्यू (प्रिंट और डिजिटल मीडिया) परिवार वालों से मिलने से गुजरते रहे,और अंत में जब अपनी मेहनत को उन्होंने फाइनल स्क्रिप्ट में ढाला तो पाया कि स्क्रिप्ट की समय सीमा ,प्रस्तुति के लिए चौदह घंटे अवधि वाली थी। इबादत के कार्यक्रम की समय सीमा के स्वरूप को ध्यान में रखते हुए , हल्दिया साहब ने सीने पर पत्थर रखकर स्क्रिप्ट को कांट-छांट कर ढाई घंटे के अनुरूप किया । पृथ्वी जी ने बताया कि शायरों, कवियों पर 24X 7 उनके दिमाग में कुछ न कुछ चलता रहता है। दर्शक कविता, शायरी को बेहतर समझे, इसलिए इबादत के कार्यक्रम में कुछ बेहतरीन बेहतरीन शायरी में लिपटे गीतों को बिना साज के गाया जाता है ताकि सुनने वालों का ध्यान सिर्फ कविता, शायरी पर ही केन्द्रित रहे। आनंद बख़्शी सरल लिखा करते थे,और लिखा भी बहुत ज्यादा, साढ़े तीन हजार के आसपास गाने उनके नाम में दर्ज हैं। अधिकता के चलते उन्हें अक्सर अच्छी तुकबंदी कर सकने वाला फिल्मी गीतकार भी कहा गया। कार्यक्रम में इस बात को बहुत अच्छे ढंग से कहा गया कि बख़्शी साहब का सरल जो लगता था, वो बहुत गहराई लिए रहता था। सरल लिख पाना बहुत जटिल रहता है, और बख़्शी साहब छियालीस वर्ष तक यह काम अनवरत करते रहे। उनके डाक्टर ने जब बख़्शी साहब से कहा कि आपके पान चबाने, धूम्रपान करने ने आपके शरीर का सत्यानाश कर दिया है। डाक्टर के जाने के बाद बख़्शी साहब ने हंसते हुए अपने पुत्र को बताया कि हमारा डाक्टर गांधी तो महा बेवकूफ है, उसे पता ही नहीं है कि मेरी इस हालात का जिम्मेदार मेरे द्वारा गीतों का लिखा जाना है, न कि पान का चबाया जाना , धूम्रपान या मदिरापान करना। संगीतकारों में उनके सबसे बड़े सहयोगी रहे लक्ष्मीकांत प्यारेलाल के लक्ष्मी जी ने बताया कि बख़्शी साहब आठ मिनट में भी उनके लिए गीत लिख डाला करते थे। अपने कर्म (गीत लिखना) के प्रति निष्ठा इतनी गजब थी कि एक गीत के लिए तो उन्होंने उनसठ अंतरे लिखकर दे दिए थे। गोपाल दास नीरज ने आनंद बख़्शी के लिए कहा था कि हिंदी फिल्मों में गीतों के लिए मौजूद रहने वाली सिचुएशन के संबंध में उनकी समझ सबसे ज्यादा लाजवाब थी। आज जब फिल्मों में कविता, शायरी का सत्यानाश हो चुका है, दर्द दूर करने वाले गीतों की जगह सरदर्द पैदा करने वाले बोलों ने ले ली है। ऐसे माहौल में इबादत के प्रयास उस संजीवनी की तरह हैं, जो मृतप्राय होती जा रही फिल्मी कविता में प्राण वायु फूंकने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। पृथ्वी जी पटकथा लेखन, प्रस्तुति, गायन भी करते हैं, और इसके अलावा अपनी टीम का हौसला, उत्साह भी शिखर पर रखते हैं। पृथ्वी जिस तरह घूमते हुए सारी दुनिया के प्राणियों ,वस्तुओं का बोझ सहन करती है, पृथ्वी जी भी, धरा (पृथ्वी जैस)प्रवृत्ति वाले ही हैं आश्चर्य और इर्ष्या भी होती है कि ईश्वर ने काहे उन्हें इतने सारे गुणों से लाद रखा है। व्यक्तिगत तौर पर मेरा पृथ्वी जी से मिलना कार्यक्रम की समाप्ति पर ही होता है, किंतु भीड़ में होने वाली उन संक्षिप्त मुलाकातें के बाद भी उन्हें मुझ जैसे सामान्य , तुच्छ, नाचीज इंसान को पहचानने, मुझसे से संबंधित याद को बतलाने में भी उन्हें दिक्कतें नहीं आती । उनकी याददाश्त भी काबिले-तारीफ है :-पिछले राजेन्द्र कृष्ण के कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने मुझसे पूछा कि आपके साथ जो, राजा मेहंदी अली खान वाली शाम को, गुड़गांव से आई थी, इस बार वो (रुपाली नागर) आपके साथ क्यों नहीं नजर आ रही। मेरी एक सामान्य संगीत प्रेमी के तौर पर सरस्वती माता से यही प्रार्थना है कि इबादत, पृथ्वी जी, ओर अन्य सभी सदस्यों पर इस यात्रा को पुरजोर तरीके से जारी रखने में अपना आशीर्वाद, अनुकंपा बरसाती रहें। Parag Dimri, Vice President (Business Development), Eldeco Infrastructure & Properties Ltd.

The singers and music were perfect, as always. Mr. Rakesh Bakshi’s style of engaging with the audience and the show made a difference. The audience was so absorbed in the show that unlike movie shows etc, there were no disturbances due to phones ringing or people murmuring. The stars were, of course, your grandchildren.
