It was a grand programme that I saw. I thoroughly enjoyed it like all previous programs of yours. The quality of singing was superb and so was the orchestration and compering. I must say that you have set a very high standard for all your programs. I have seen ample evidence of sheer hard work, immaculate planning, thorough research and an eye for minute details in all your productions. As an organiser of stage cultural events in Delhi for more than 48 years and about 400 programs, I can say with confidence that you and your team puts in real life and soul into its productions. I have always believed that in the race of excellence, there is no finishing line. Your regular follow up for feed-back from audience of previous shows indicates your urge to achieve more and more excellence. I can easily guess that you and your core team is sacrificing scores of sleepless nights for each of its productions ungrudgingly. I know it for long that obsession to maintain high standards makes one do that. Incidentally the music teacher of your singer of the evening happens to be my first cousin ( late Neelam Sahni was my Bhua's daughter). As I "watched" your program with shut eyes, I could hear reverberations of Neelam's singing style in many songs. We have found programmes of Ibaadat & Rekhta most illustrating & absorbing. For us Urdu poetry, ghazals, qawwalis have always been too distant as we could not connect to these formats unlike Hindustani, Carnatic & European classical musical. Last 3 / 4 years have given us good in insight. Generally we found programmes well researched & presented. I only wish you could enlarge audience by choosing a bigger hall.S.S.Kothari, Cemtech

The stage palms set the mood. Audience was great not a single mobile rang (may be two did). No one left; except only towards the end; they don’t know what they missed. I think it was the first time you gave the time duration. Great! Oh the whole programme was Divine. Short and sweet and soulful. Dr. Sapna was great…no words for her. Over the years, she has matured so much’ she excelled herself. Her voice was so deep and she is like a pro and a gold mine. Last two Sufi ones were icing on the cake. I thoroughly enjoyed. Heartiest congratulations. The function was great. It touched my heart and I felt emotionally exalted. All praise to you and others who contributed in the selection of the ''rare" poets, their ghazals and the nazm which was no less than the best of the ghazals. The Sufi Quwallis were an icing on the proverbial cake. I would rate yesterday's show amongst the best from Ibaadat, even with just two singers.
