Main to Jaaduu Huun…Anand Bakshi, Kolkata 20^th June, 2025

This new show on Anand Bakshi which was launched in Mumbai in February, 2025 and then staged in Ludhiana in March, 2025, was taken to Kolkata on 20^th June. The show, scripted in our unique conversational style, presented several facets of the poet’s life and works, with focus on his satire and humour. In this musical drama, 15 of his most poetic film songs were rendered in full by 6 consummate singers while another 76 mukhdas/antaras were sung in tarannum. In addition, his 6 poems were also recited. The highlight of the show was the personal anecdotes narrated by Rakesh Anand Bakshi, the son of Anand Bakshi. The event received an overwhelming appreciation.
