Kaviraaj Shailendra, Dubai 4th December, 2015

After a successful showing of Rooh-e-Majrooh in Dubai in 2014, Ibaadat took its Kaviraaj Shailendra show to Dubai. The Shailendra show had already received earlier wide acclaim from the audiences in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. This show was staged at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai on 4th December, 2015.

Really enjoyed. Your hard work and thought (and that of your team) in putting it together is evident‎. Love the fact that you keep varying the format and length of various segments so that one is left wanting more at every stage. It was quite informative too - especially on the non-film poetry or even some of the film songs. Like I didn't know that the Anuradha songs that I love were written by Shailendra. The quality of singing was also excellent - particularly, Suprriya. Somehow one appreciates the lyrics more when listening to live music rather than the recorded voice.
